What I love about this smoothie is that not only is it mouth-wateringly delicious and nutritious, it takes less than 5 minutes to make.
It is packed full of antioxidants from the berries and is a great way to satisfy your child’s hunger and is dairy, gluten and
refined sugar free.
Coconut milk is my favourite healthy fat and my go-to is Coco Quench which combines coconut milk with brown rice milk. The minerals and fats in the coconut milk are matched with the sweetness and complex carbohydrates in the organic brown rice milk.
Coconut milk is a source of a number of minerals including iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and manganese.
Ingredients
- ½ cup frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- ½ cup frozen raspberries
- 1½ cups Coco Quench coconut milk (or coconut milk of your choice)
- ¼ tsp vanilla powder
- 2 pitted medjool dates (creates chewy bits, yum!)
- 1 tsp almond butter
How to make
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth
- Top with raspberries and blueberries and serve immediately
